What is Earth Hour?

Every year on 22nd March, Earth Hour is celebrated by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF). Earth Hour aims to reduce carbon footprints and promote environmental conservation.

When did Earth Hour start?

In 2007, an initiative to save Earth was first launched in Sydney, Australia by WWF. With the Earth Hour initiative, the participation of millions of people highlights the need for climate change, the decline of biodiversity, and pollution. This event raises solidarity towards saving our “MOTHER EARTH”.
